Ian & Finn
We had the honor of photographing Amy and Bill's growing family whose beginnings we witnessed at their wedding. Ian is now much taller (still a goofball!), and Finn has come into the world - what a soulful little guy. This session reminded me that capturing the spirit of children is all about being present with them and just letting them be who they are. This often means letting go of my "ideas" about what photographs I want to take and, instead, telling myself to just remain in the moment. I love being happily surprised by what comes out of the camera in the end, and it reinforces my belief that simpler is usually better when it comes to truthful portraiture.

Clare & David
Big plans were made for this session involving bicycle baskets and kitties... needless to say, Stash and Moleson would have no part of that and instead watched the goings-on from a safe distance.

Look out for the tree, Dave!

Zeli & John
Friends and family came from all over globe for Zeli & John's wedding. It was a very windy day at the Four Seasons but we managed to avoid rain... and there were such beautiful landscapes on our walk.

Kristen & Kevin
We are sneaking in this shoot before Kristen & Kevin's wedding next month! Time flies! I loved this sunset session - everything felt so summery. Of course we all made a pitstop at Rita's afterward for Italian ice.

Jill and Mike
Congratulations to Jill and Mike who won our St. Francis raffle prize back in February! Jill said she stuffed the goldfish bowl with tickets to win the portrait session - what a nice compliment! So with lovely weather and a hazy late afternoon sun - and Jill in such a perfect sundress! - we spent some time wandering the grounds at Franklin Park. We wish you all the best as you plan for your wedding!
