Erin & Michael
I know I always go on about how much I love photographing at St. Francis, but I can't help it... it's just so beautiful. Erin and Michael's wedding was perfect; family and friends travelled from all over and everyone knew how to have a great time. Huge OSU fans, Erin & Michael dotted the "i" in a dance floor rendition of Script Ohio. I've never seen anything quite like it!

Sarah
Sarah, Bishop Ready's superstar runner, is off to college soon and we had so much fun on our shoot with her. Part of what I love about photographing seniors is that we're able to collaborate on the session and come up with ideas that really say "This is who I am." Sarah, thank you for letting us peek into your life... you're an amazing person!

Shannon & Bryan
High school sweethearts, Shannon and Bryan returned to their hometown of Vermilion, Ohio to celebrate their wedding. It's always nice to visit new places, and though I'd been to Vermilion before, it was years ago. Shannon took us to the orchard where she used to go cherry picking and we spent some time at Schoepfle Gardens too. We really had a wonderful time with you both and thank you for showing us so many beautiful places!

Erin & John
We got to know Erin & John at their e-session last fall. We met Erin's family, had fun shoot with her brother's family (you might remember that cute little cowboy, AJ), and received a guided tour of their beautiful farm courtesy of Erin's Dad. When we headed back to Columbus that evening we felt like we were part of the family ourselves and were really looking forward to the wedding. As we knew it would be, everything was absolutely beautiful, from the fairy tale carriage ride to the church with her Dad to the bagpipes & drums and dramatic skies after the ceremony. John presented Erin with his family tartan and off they rode.

Who IS this little guy?
Two years ago we photographed Heidi, a Schnauzer and Andrew's friend and faithful companion. She had lived a long and happy life but suffered from seizures which grew much worse as she got older. Andrew scheduled a session with us the day before they said their goodbyes (I'm getting teary-eyed as I type this) and we felt very humbled to be part of such a personal time... animal friends mean so much to us and we love capturing their spirits in photographs for their human companions. For every end there is a beginning, and this summer Andrew's friends and family presented him with a wiggly, fuzzy birthday present named Toby. We were so happy to be able to spend some time chasing this tiny ball of energy around the park.
